WebThis is an open-label prospective observational study to assess the efficacy of a single-dose fluconazole 150 mg for oral thrush. Methods: Palliative medicine and hospice patients with a clinical diagnosis of oral thrush, a life expectancy of more than 1 week, and were able to swallow were enrolled. WebSubjects were stratified by age in each cohort. Participants in Cohort 1 received lorazepam 0.1 mg/kg up to a maximum dose of 4 mg/kg. Participants in Cohort 2 received lorazepam 0.05 mg/kg up to a maximum dose of 2 mg/kg. This study was conducted under the Best Pharmaceuticals for Children Act Program.
